Becoming a taxi driver in Shetland requires the Shetland Islands Council Taxi Drivers Licence available from the Infrastructure Services Department of the Council. Applicants must complete a form and provide two references.

Once you have your licence you are welcome to contact Allied about the possibility of employment. We are especially interested in talking to drivers who may be interested in becoming an authorised tour guide and anyone with foreign language skills.

Taxi Owners
